A short version of my story

I first explored a career in Massage Therapy after a dissolved first marriage closed the door on my work as a certified Birth Doula and childbirth educator. No longer able to be on call day and night, (babies come when it’s time, regardless of planning!) fueled by the needs of taking care of my two (then) little boys and finding a stable income, I was in search of a new start. I knew in every cell of my being that I had to continue healing and helping.

As it happens, I landed a job as a day spa receptionist and the rest fell into place. I became friends with many massage therapists, estheticians, hair stylists, makeup artists and nail technicians. I explored many different employment and training avenues.

I completed therapeutic and medical massage therapy certifications back to back at UTMI in Albuquerque, NM, earning my New Mexico state and national massage therapy licenses (NCBTMB) in 2009. Shortly after graduating with honors, I opened the doors to Trinity Therapeutics and have been practicing medical massage since. The same wonderful year I met my love! Our sweet little girl was born in May 2011.

In the summer of 2015 I decided to dive deeper into my yoga practice and completed a 200 hour yoga teacher training at SWEAT yoga studio, also in Albuquerque, NM.

I am forever grateful to all the teachers that continue to guide me and others along the yogic path. Yoga truly changed my life, helping me see the layers of fear, conditioning, and anger I had been living under, without judgement. Learning how to let go of what no longer serves, unearthing the truth while growing inside and out are just a few of the unending gifts yoga offers.  I’m honored and excited to share these teachings with others!

I have completed numerous hours of continuing education in various massage therapy modalities including-myofascial release, reflexology, and trigger point therapy. I’ve also submerged myself in additional training in various styles and traditions of yoga. I’ve enjoyed workshops with many wonderful teachers including Aparna Levine, Shiva Rea, Anton Mackey and Josh Schrei and Cigall Eacott . I enjoy expanding my knowledge and understanding of the human experience, finding and sharing ways to help make bodies, minds, and hearts happy and whole.

I currently offer my unique blend of  flow and restorative  yoga classes as well as private and semi private lessons in beautiful Albuquerque,  New Mexico.

Above all I’m a Wife and Mama. I love reading, learning, practicing yoga, cooking, helping, gardening, dancing, and weight training. All of my very favorite things  include spending time with my family. Whether it’s camping, snuggling up, roller skating or talking about the day, being with my 3 little ones, 2 fury ones, and my loving and supportive husband makes my heart happiest.

All of the classes I teach, bodywork treatments I give, and thoughts I share are offered in love and light. May all beings be happy and free and may we all answer the call to be our most kind and compassionate selves!
